The aim of the visit:

1. The main aim is to provide information about modern research of Chinese medicine and practical experience in the field of Chinese Medicine.
2. Discuss the establishment of a Confucius education program of Chinese medicine and other related matters.
3. Discover the Dutch economy and the recent development of Chinese medicine in The Netherlands.
4. Discuss cooperation in the establishment of Chinese medical education and co-operation of clinical centres.

13 August 2009 till 18 August 2009

Visit Schedule:

August 14: Visit Leiden University and TNO (the Dutch Organization for Applied Scientific Research).
August 15: Visit the Chinese Medicine clinics in The Hague and exchange of knowledge between Dutch and Chinese medicine pratitioners.
August 16: Symposium and seminars, sponsored by The Dutch professional Association for Chinese Medicine. 
August 17: Discussion with the Dutch professional association for Chinese medicine and the Dutch Chinese Medical University about the cooperation in education and formation of the Dutch Confucius School of Chinese Medicine and clinical centres.
August 18: Visit the city government and the Ministry of Economic Affairs in Arnhem, accompanied by the head of this department.
